Regular Season Round 1: Vardar - Szczecin 86-62

There was no surprise when PolishSzczecin was outplayed by North Macedonian Vardar 86-62 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Vardar. Szczecin managed to win fourth quarter 20-13 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vardar dominated on the defensive end, holding Szczecin to just 5 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Szczecin 's 40. Vardar forced 22 Szczecin turnovers. Guard Vojdan Cadinovski (185) fired 24 points for the winners. Guard Marko Mladenovski (186) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Guard Blazej Ogrodowski (187-2010) produced 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Szymon Tomski (185-2010) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
